Guided by these objectives, we uncompromisingly strive for excellence on behalf of our clients. In 1936, George Dickinson Sr. founded the Dickinson Insurance Agency in Longview, Texas. Fourteen years later, Guy Harrison joined the agency and ultimately became managing partner of Dickinson & Harrison Insurance. The firm operated as such until 1993, when the agency was acquired by Shappell & Diebolt, Inc., and changed its name to D&H Insurance Group. The company was then reorganized into four primary product divisions: commercial insurance lines, employee benefits, safety consultant services and personal insurance lines. At D&H Insurance Group, we strive to partner with our clients to help identify, evaluate and understand their specific insurance needs and then work together to employ insurance products to protect those needs.
